Our BendTech Dragon A400 cuts, marks, and engraves round, square, rectangular, angle, and channel tube and pipe with CNC precision. Parts come off the machine weld-ready, with no manual layout work and no fitment guesswork.
The Dragon A400 handles round tube from 3/4” to 6”, square and rectangular tube from 1” to 4”, and angle and channel stock, up to 24 ft. long and 400 lbs. per piece. Steel, stainless, aluminum, galvanized, and chrome-moly all run on the same machine. That means we can cut the full range of a structural or ornamental fabrication project without outsourcing a single piece.
CNC plasma cutting under the right conditions produces clean cope cuts, miter cuts, and saddle cuts that fit up without grinding or fitting work. The Dragon also marks bend locations, rotation, and fit-up saddle marks directly on the tube, so assembly is faster and mistakes are fewer. Production time can be up to five times faster compared to manual layout and cutting.
We import STEP and IGES files directly from SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Tekla into the Dragon software. Designs go straight from CAD to cut file with no manual re-drawing. For custom runs or one-off pieces, we can design directly in DragonCAD and have parts on the table the same day.
